





“Sure, I think I can manage that.” He carefully sat up to avoid having the blood rush to his head and cause him to feel light-headed; he’d had enough of that for one day. Then he stood up and followed her into the kitchen.
Leaving the living room she headed back into the kitchen. It was good to see that with some rest Ventus had regained his strength. “Alright, well there’s chips, soup and what not in here,” she pointed up to the right side of the kitchen at the top cabinets across from the refrigerator. She turned around and opened up the fridge. “And I have things to make sandwiches if you want a turkey or ham sandwich. It’s up to you. Help yourself.”
Ven went for a can of beef stew (OOC: That’s my favorite. Grammie makes the best), and once it was ready for eating, he settled down at a table near the kitchen. Within five minutes, he had scarfed it down. He had a ferocious appetite.
“Thanks, Kairi. I forgot that I had such a monstrous appetite.” Ventus said to her when he was done and had taken the bowl and spoon he used to the sink.
Kairi settled on a sandwich and chips, making her way over to the table she noticed how fast Ven had finished eating. “Wow I’ve never seen anyone eat that fast.” She giggled. “Hey you’re welcome, I’m just glad I could help out.” She smiled at him.
